Instead of the traditional cupcakes, hubby and I decided to get a mini-cake for Jacob's 5th month celebration (read between the lines -- bitin sa amin ang cupcakes.lol)
We had a simple and sinful merienda celebration at Mcdonalds Libis
At 5 months, Jacob can do the following:
> roll-over or rather tumble over and over
> focus and grab objects (especially colorful ones)
> babble non-stop
> say MAMA!!!! <---- yup! his 1st word!
> giggle and laugh when surprised
> recognize faces ( in Tagalog, nangingilala)
> scratches right part of his head (which is becoming a funny habit. lol)
> sits upright, with support
> drools big time, which I read is his body's way of preparing for the introduction of solid foods
> grab his feet! (sabay subo! lol lol lol)

Grabe, antagal kong naka miss magbasa ng blog mo. You know what? I think you went to Culinary School with a guy I know... Di ko na mention name kasi, you know- cyberspace. Hahaha! Anyway, congratulations to your little boy and welcome to the Christian world! God bless you and your family and hope all continues to be well. I, on the other hand, have yet to find a job. Grabe, feel na feel ko na ang boredom but unfortunately recession pa rin dito sa Amerika, so may I go home na muna ako to the Philippines. Yay!
sige, buzz me up when you are here in pinas, para we could meet up! grabe recession pa din jan? hope everything turns out well na :)
Yes, medyo hard pa rin to find work, me and a million other people. You know, when I got laid off last year my prayer was, "unahin na muna yung others na mas kailangan ng work", a year and a half later wala pa rin ako work, sabi ko "Lord, this time ako naman!". Di naman siguro masama to ask and pray for myself? :)
I know, in God's perfect time, that elusive job will find me soon. I will post a comment when I'm there na, it would be nice to meet up!
God bless you and your family.
