Kuya was so exicted and elated, that he rode his new ride from the department store to the parking area. Hahahahahaha! Heads turned and some even pointed at him, commenting at how cute he was!

Hubby made Joaquin promise that he can only ride his bicycle if he is wearing his helmet. Safety first!

I can still remember Joaquin's first bicycle experience at home.
Dearest Joaquin,
Mama was just supposed to buy birthday gifts at Toy Kingdom, nothing more, nothing less. But then you wandered off to the bicycle station... and your eyes locked in at this Ben10 bicycle. From that moment on... it was love at first sight for you.
You wanted that bike so bad that you didn't stop nagging me and Papa. That was how determined you were. When you wanted something, then so be it. Did you throw a tantrum? No you didn't anak, you just had this way of convincing us... with the way you plead plus those sad eyes... Hahaha! You had us! So we gave in (plus we reasoned that you have been a good kuya to Jacob).
As you ride your bike away, Mama got teary eyed... you're so big and independent. For now, you have training wheels... but give or take a couple of months... you'll be on your own.. no more training wheels.
SO papa and I will treasure every moment spent with you... every moment that you'll be needing us still.
