KanSi

After hearing mass with the family, we were at a lost as where to eat.  Choices were Causeway (but we just had Chinese yesterday), Bonchon (but sister just ate there earlier), and Sushiya (but Papa wasn’t in the Japanese mode), so we ended up trying out Kansi.

It’s a hole in a wall type of carinderia that boasts of their bulalo, which was damn good!  Their secret?  They put calamansi in the broth!

Hubby had 2 servings of rice!  As he said, “sabaw pa lang, ulam na” hahaha.  Little boy had a field day with their barbeque, which I find kind of tough and nothing to really rave about (Three sisters all the way!!!).

But on the other hand, I really liked their boneless bangus!  One thing that you mus be careful with fish when cooking is that it has the tendency to easily dry out since it has about zero fat content, so timing and correct temperature are a must!  With Kansi’s bangus ... it was perfect! Yummy!
