Happy BiRThday MaMa and VieL!

dMama's birthday celebration already started in the office where sales representatives from different pharmaceutical companies passed by, brought sumptuous cakes, and gave mama their greetings.  For my part, I cooked massive trays (as in fiesta style na sa laki) of my baked macaroni which were all gone by lunch time.  I've been prepping and cooking since last night but complaining and getting tired were not on my mind, because I'm doing all these for my Mom. period.  Iba talaga if you're doing something for someone you so love.

As a tradition, the whole family hears mass together on a person's birthday.  What made this birthday more special was the fact that it coincided with Ash Wednesday.  After mass, the family went to where else... BONCHON!  Yes, the Cordova Family is a sucker for Bonchon chicken.

Then we had the cake blowing!  For us Cordovas, a birthday is not complete without the cake and the candle! Make a wish!

Happy Happy Birthday Mama and Viel!!! Sure we only had chicken.... but it was the best darn chicken since it was eaten, shared, and enjoyed with family.  We love you very very very much!
