I've always had a fetish for pens. My oldest pen is my 10-year old Hello Kitty mini-pen set that my Mom bought me at then Gift Gate VirraMall. It doesn't write anymore, but still, it holds priceless memories. Ever since I was a little girl, pens were a source of comfort. I see it as a way out. I pick up my pen, grab my journal, and let time pass me by. I can write on any journal but I can't use just any type of pen. The pen has to match what my emotional status is. Lol. Call it an OC freaky trait, but that is just how I am.
But ever since Ondoy, I lost my pen collection (save the lone Hello Kitty pen set) and the urge to write on my journal. I wonder will I get my 'mojo' back. I chanced upon Muji store and saw their enticing pen displays. I tried one after the another until I felt the familiar tingling of my fingers. I found the right pen. I should have bought it since it was just P55.00 but I got distracted by what I can't recall (most probably Joaquin and one of his 'muntik ng makabasag' episodes), and had to go out of the store. I went back the other day only to find out that the pen I like is completely sold out and would take a month for the new batch to arrive. Grrrr... talk about getting my 'mojo' back and losing it the second time.
But I am patient. I'll check out Muji next month and hopefully my pen is there. Wish me Luck.
Crazily yours. lol.
