I woke up at exactly 5:40am, I gently whispered to LB that it's field trip day and to my surprise, without even a hint of grogginess, he jumped out of bed! He was that excited as well. Hahaha!
LB was the 1st one out of the house! but the last on the bus since Papa had a hard time waking up. lol.
First stop was the Aereospace Museum at Clark Pampanga, where the kids were exposed to the actual old planes that were used by the soldiers and I think others were left behind by the Americans. But kids will be kids, they didn't bother much with the airplanes and instead made a beeline to the adjacent playground. Hahaha!
Papa and Mama were more excited to have their pictures taken with the planes. lol.
While the kids were just soooo happy and content at the playground. Ayaw na umalis nung iba. lol.
Then off to Nayong Pilipino where the kids were exposed to replicas of significant structures like the Borasoain church, the houses of Emilio Aguinaldo and Jose Rizal, and the Ifugaos and their way of life. This is where we also had lunch. Nayong Pilipino is a great avenue to expose children to the Filipino culture but one thing that sort of turned us off was the fact that everything needs to be paid for such as the use of tables and the restroom.
Next stop was Zoocobia where kids get to interact and feed the animals... highlight for the kids was the giant slides!!! The kids and even Teacher Ryzza went balistic over the slides and rode them over and over again. hahahaha :)
Just like us parents, Yaya Jen enjoyed every minute of the trip especially the slides with her alaga.
Last stop was Paradise Ranch where kids get to ride on the boats, feed the fishes and ducks, see the Butterfly farm, and feed the Ostrich :)
LB was so tired from the day's events and adventures that he couldn't walk any further... good thing Papa was there to carry him back to the car and back home :)
Until the next field trip! :)
