Happy 27th Birthday TinTIn!

I wasn't kidding when I told you that once July started, the birthdays keep on coming :)  My dear sister celebrated her 27th birthday with a bang at Stone Grill House of Wagyu!  Though I want so much to blog about the restaurant (in short -- the meat was sooo GOOD! Lived up to the Wagyu expectations, while the rest... can be totally forgotten.)

I liked the concept of StoneGrill, you get to cook the steak until your desired doneness.

KaTs is BacK!!!

After almost four years.... She's back!!!! My dearest friend Kats!!!!

We are finally complete!  And it is her first time to see Joaquin in the flesh!  We are now making plans to have an all girls night out, eat out at the restaurants she has missed, and to have a spa and beach weekend.  I will make her stay as fun and as memorable as can be.  I owe her a lot.  She may be hundreds of miles away, but she made me feel she was right besides me when Ondoy and Akyat Bahay struck us.  She has proven that through thick and thin, sickness and health, joy and sorrow, high and low... she'll always be there.

Last Kitchen Week:  Pasta week!

This is my favorite week of all!  I've always loved pasta but never quite made a consistent luck with it.  So I was all ears when the Chefs taught us all the tricks and trades :)

After King, it is Mikko's turn to celebrate his special day.  He chose a small quiet location along Katipunan -- Banapple.

Happy 8th Birthday King!

Our dearest King turns 8 today.  Even though his MOm is no longer with him, we made sure that every moment would be a fun day for him and the whole family.

In line with Cordova's tradition, the birthday celebrant gets to choose where he would like to dine on his special day.  King chose Yellow Cab, since the one nearest our place (Eastwood) was inaccessible due to Charice Pempengco's concert, we ended up at Greenhills SanJuan branch.  Far, but again, the birthday celebrant gets what he wants :)

Then the whole family went crazy at Timezone...

We went home a little past 12 midnight.  Tired but happy.  King's birthday brought out the kids in us :)
