HappY FaTher's daY

A rare treat/event for the Cordovas.... All complete to celebrate Father's day.  Since Papa loves anything to do with fish, and we have kids to consider, what better way but to celebrate it at Manila Ocean Park.

I was smiling the whole day, and I noticed it too with my Mom and siblings.  I just didn't want the day to end.  I wish Papa could relax more an dedicate more time with family, that business is not everything.  At least, when Joaquin came into the world, Papa had more reason to enjoy life.

Happy Father's day Papa, I pray to have more years to celebrate Father's day with you.  I still have lots of things I want to buy you, not that you ever asked, but I'll be in constant depth to you... for all the things you've taught and shown me.  Love you Papa!

And to the other man in my life...

Happy Father's day Hun!  Thanks for trying to be the best Papa for our Biggie boy :) We love you!

Last two weeks at OJT.  I can't believe it's almost over.  I'm so used to the system that I felt I'm already employed here, just with no salary though. lol.

I will miss the new friends I made...

I will miss the dishes I learned to make...

Of all kitchen sections, I will miss most the Japanese...
Over all the experience at H Hotel is an extraordinary one.   I thank the school for trusting me enough to send me in this prestigious hotel.  Chef J gave me a grade that she said I very well deserve.  I was elated.  I knew I gave it my best and I got rewarded. I was smiling from ear to ear and happy with my added knowledge.  When I got home to my son, he refused to come near me.  I coaxed him to eating and sleeping with me but he wouldn’t budge.  He said flat in my face, “Ayoko sa yo Mama, palagi mo ko iwan, always wala ka.” I left H feeling a winner, I got home as a loser mom.  The price you pay for knowledge.  I hugged my son, said sorry, and promised that I’ll make it up to him.  If he only knew that I’m doing this all for him.  One thing priceless I gained from this training is that I realized my priorities in life.   It used to be Student, Mom, and Wife, now it’s Mom, Wife, and a Student.
